Scott Newman received his Master of Science degree in Technology Management from the University Of Maryland at College Park. His thesis was on the uses of Telecommunications in Distance Education. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a certificate of Environmental Science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. He has also completed advanced coursework in statistical analysis at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and has been certified in Distance Learning Instruction.
Scott spent ten years in Washington D.C. working for the U.S. House of Representatives and as a consultant providing support for the Department of Justice, Office of National Drug Control Policy, Department of Energy, Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, and the National Institutes of Health. |

He has presented his work at the Pennsylvania Distance Learning Association, Masie TechLearn Conference, International Teleconferencing Association, and published in The Distance Learning Journal. He is a member of the American Society of Training and Development, American Legal Training Association, and the eLearning Guild.
